Backordered Products

We do our best to keep track of our inventory. However, on occasion we may run out of an item. If you do order a backordered item that has not been flagged on our website, we will do our best to notify you of any backordered status.

Almost all of our merchandise is shipped directly from our warehouse. Occasionally a manufacturer or another distributor may ship an order, or part of an order directly to you. If an item is backordered for more than two or three business days we will do our best to contact you to see if you want to wait, to make arrangements for a comparable substitution, or to cancel your original order.

Discontinued or Unavailable Products

If the product you order has been discontinued by the manufacturer or is no longer available from the supplier, we will do our best to contact you to make arrangements for a comparable substitution or a cancellation of your original order.

Cancellations

Most of our products ship out the same day you order them. Therefore, once an order has been processed, only backordered products may be cancelled. To request cancellation on backordered items, please call our Customer Service Department at 1-(800)-456-5267 as quickly as possible so that we may accommodate your request.

Non-returnable Items

Wondering which items are non-returnable? Here's our list:

  • All Tools
  • Electronics
  • Controls (eg: thermostats, relays, aquastats, zone valves, etc)
  • Items which have been used or installed
  • Opened books, computer software, videotapes, and audiocassettes
  • Non-defective large ready-to-assemble items, such as barbeque grills and heaters if the carton is opened
  • Items with a shelf life
  • Custom-configured orders, such as items which have been cut to order
  • Items that have been intentionally damaged
  • Items whose description states that they are non-returnable

Order Acceptance Policy

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation neither signifies our acceptance of your order nor constitutes confirmation of our offer to sell. Dickson Supply reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. Dickson Supply reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item. We reserve the right, if the product you order becomes unavailable, to supply you with an upgraded product if possible. All orders placed must obtain preapproval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may require additional verification or information before accepting any order.

Shopping Basket Help

If you are having trouble adding items to your cart, you may be having problems with cookies. Cookies are small text files which are saved to your computer, that help your computer to remember which items you've placed into your basket, and whether you're logged in or not. If you are trying to add items to your cart and they aren't appearing, you probably have your cookies turned off. To use our website, your browser must have cookies turned on. If you are trying to add items to your cart and there are items there already, click on the link at the bottom of that page which says 'Click here to erase your cookies.' This link will erase everything in your basket and restart your browsing session with us.
