Return Policy

Our policy on returns is simple. Please do NOT send back an order without first contacting us. Failure to contact us before shipping back an order will only result in a delay of your credit. Our warehouse system is organized in such a way that if you follow these directions, your return will proceed smoothly and efficiently, but if you fail to contact us, we may not be able to process your return and credit you for quite some time.

If a product you ordered arrives damaged or defective, you have thirty (30) days from the date you receive it to return it for a full or partial refund. If you should encounter a missing or damaged part involved with your order, please contact us within thirty (30) days of receipt of the order. Although unpleasant events such as this are rare, please know that we will always do our best to accommodate you. Some items are non-returnable (see below), but most of our merchandise comes with a money-back guarantee. If you decide to return an undamaged or non-defective product, you will be responsible for a 15% restocking fee. The restocking fee applies to all products that qualify to be returned.

If we shipped you the wrong product, please notify us within five (5) days of receiving your order. If we confirm that the order was in fact fulfilled wrongly on our end, we will pay the shipping cost for the incorrect item to be sent back, and send you the correct product. However, if you ordered the wrong product from us and wish to return the product, you are responsible for the shipping cost and the 15% restocking fee.

On Our Restocking Fee:
Our restocking fee is waived only when we have shipped you an item in error, or when you are making an exchange for an item of equal or greater value. Direct Ship items are handled differently as well; when an item is shipped directly from a manufacturer's warehouse, returning it sometimes incurs more cost than other times. For this reason, Direct Ship items may have a different restocking fee charged than certain other items.

We do our best to provide as much information as we can about each and every item we sell on the internet; we ask that you do your best to inform yourself exactly what it is that you are purchasing. We would far rather receive a phone call or an email which resolves an issue before you order than put you through the hassle of a returned product.

Non-Returnable Items

Wondering which items are non-returnable? Here's our list:

  • All Tools
  • Electronics
  • Toilet Seats
  • Controls (eg: thermostats, relays, aquastats, zone valves, etc)
  • Items which have been used or installed
  • Opened books, computer software, videotapes, and audiocassettes
  • Non-defective large ready-to-assemble items, such as barbeque grills and heaters if the carton is opened
  • Items with a shelf life
  • Custom-configured orders, such as items which have been cut to order
  • Items that have been intentionally damaged
  • Items whose description states that they are non-returnable

Returns and Refunds Procedure

If you have a product which needs to be returned or exchanged, you must follow our returns procedure to receive a refund for the amount to which you are entitled.

Before you mail the item back to us, you must contact us via e-mail or via telephone. If you call us at 1-800-456-5267, please have your order ID at hand. When you contact us, you will have to tell us your order ID and the items in your order which you are returning. At that point, our customer representative will calculate the amount to which you are entitled.

The product being returned must be shipped to us via a courier who issues a tracking number, and in the package being shipped you must include a note with your transaction ID and the reason for the return.

Please Remember:

You cannot return a non-returnable item.
You must contact us within thirty (30) days to qualify for a return.
You will be charged a 15% restocking fee - unless the item is being returned because we shipped you the wrong item, or if you are making an exchange of equal or greater value.
We do not pay your shipping charges - unless the item is being returned because we shipped you the wrong item.

Refunds

To qualify for a refund, the guidelines in ‘returning an item’ must be followed. The product being returned for a refund must be shipped to us via a courier who issues a tracking number. We will cover the cost of return shipping if the item is not what you ordered. However, if the item being returned was the correct item and is non-defective, we will not refund your original shipping cost, nor will we pay shipping for it to come back to us. Remember, all undamaged, non-defective products must be in their original boxes and in like-new condition to qualify for a refund. Once we receive your returned item, if all refund and return guidelines are followed, a full refund will be issued minus any applicable fees.

Warranties

Each product is packaged with the manufacturer's warranty and service information detailing specific terms and conditions, if applicable. We encourage you to complete the product registration information and return any registration cards to the manufacturer so that they can contact you if necessary in the future.
