Shipping Rules and Restrictions

Dickson Supply’s electronic order system is currently set up to accommodate Ground shipments and First- and Second-Day Air only within the continental United States. Shipping to destinations such as Alaska, Hawaii, and other US territories is a matter of additional freight charges, since these shipments must be sent via UPS First- or Second-Day Air. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

We do not sell or ship products outside of the United States and its territories.

We offer quick no-nonsense shipping quotes directly from our shopping cart page. Once you have entered your zip code, you can calculate the shipping cost immediately, without having to log in or check out. You will be presented with a list of delivery options and exact pricing for each available shipping method. On larger items, LTL (Less That Truckload) freight charges may apply, as opposed to parcel delivery.

Handling Charges

As a plumbing, heating, and irrigation supply warehouse, we offer our goods at a wholesale rate. Therefore, our profit is based on larger or high-quantity items. While we do not require a ‘minimum’ amount for an order, we do still charge a handling fee on orders under a certain amount.

  • Orders <= $10.00 have a handling fee of $5
  • Orders <= $20.00 have a handling fee of $3
  • Orders <= $30.00 have a handling fee of $2
  • Orders <= $50.00 have a handling fee of $1

We are able to keep our prices down because we receive large orders of items in bulk, which we, in turn, offer at wholesale discounted prices. When we charge wholesale prices for small-dollar sales, we actually end up losing money by picking, packing, and shipping the order, as well as other administrative costs of processing the order. However, we don’t want to lose your business, so we still offer you our unbeatable prices and excellent customer service. Handling Charges allow us to be able to provide solutions which would otherwise not be viable. We realize that that small orders can be very important to you.

UPS Delivery Times

Please allow 6 to 10 days on the West Coast to receive most orders shipped by our parcel carrier program via ground. (Note: deliveries to business addresses are usually delivered a day faster than packages to residential addresses). Because Dickson Supply usually ships products directly from our own warehouse in Brielle, NJ, we ship quickly. Most of our orders are shipped within hours of the time they are placed. On some occasions an item happens to be unavailable from our inventory, and we may arrange to have our manufacturers or distributors “Direct-Ship” the item directly from their location for us. If this is done it is a fast way of providing you with your products, and an effective way of saving time and keeping handling and freight costs lower. However, some extra time may be involved in processing your order; if this is the case we will keep you advised. This also means that if you order several types of products at once, they may come from different shipping points around the country and may arrive on different days.

Unless otherwise indicated, most of our products ship standard ground. Some of our large or exceptionally heavy items must be shipped using a freight truck. These items will take longer to ship; please allow about 15 business days for a West Coast truck shipment to arrive. Areas closer to our East Coast warehouse should experience lesser shipping times. Someone may need to contact you to set up a delivery appointment to make receiving our larger products as easy as possible. If you order an item that requires a truck delivery, please give us a daytime phone number so that our carrier may arrange an appointment with you, if necessary. We reserve the right to charge a fee for any shipment that is refused or that may require additional expenses.

We make every effort to ship products the same day your order is placed. However, some merchandise may take two to three days to process due to holidays or weekends. Dickson Supply does not ship on Saturday or Sunday, but we have a crew of people here on Saturdays. If you need to contact us on Saturdays please call our Customer Service Department at (1-800)-456-5267 or (1-800)-GLO-LAMP. Please note all shipment times are estimates from our experience. Transportation times can be subject to the weather and various other conditions that may affect the carrier’s ability to perform.

During the holiday season, UPS does not pick up or deliver packages on Thanksgiving, the friday immediately after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, or New Years Day.

Free Shipping

Many of our items have our FREE Shipping offer. This applies to any item that has our "Free Shipping Image" attached to any item on our website.

Free Shipping means we'll ship your purchase from our site right to your door (or the door of someone special), free of charge via standard ground shipping. Our Free Shipping offer is available to most addresses in the Continental United States, or the "Lower 48 States". Some addresses within this area may be excluded from free service. Those exclusions may be remote areas that would not be served by our ground freight carriers. This is rare and you probably know if you live in an area not served by freight carriers.

Tracking Your Order

On any page on Accentshopping.com, you can log into your account and check the status of your active and past orders. On the red tab at the top right-hand side of the page, you can click 'My Account.' This will bring you to a page which asks existing customers to log in. If you've placed an order with us before, you may have created an account with your email address and a password. Enter your email address and password here.

If you can't remember which email address you used, think back to which email address received the confirmation email for your order. That is the email you used to create an account with us.

If you didn't create an account with us, you will need to have the shipping ZIP code of the order as well as the order number. These can be used to look up your order as well.

To View the status of your current/past orders, click on "View my Current/Past Orders" and then click into the order you wish to keep track of.
