Taco 007 Iron Body Cartridge Circulator

The Taco 007 Cartridge Circulator (Iron Body) is designed for use in hydronic heating systems. The 007 can be used in the typical Residential Hydronic Heating System as the main circulator, or to add a zone or for solar or radiant heating applications.

Because of its compact size, the 007 circulator pump is a convienient pump to use when you are making additions to an existing system or when zoning with circulators. The 007 - cast iron body cirulator has flanged connections. The Taco 007 circulator can use flanges sized from 3/4" FIP to 11/2" FIP to connect to piping systems, a set of two flange ring type gaskets are included with the Taco 007-F5 circulator.

The Taco 007, also known as 007-F5, replaces all 007 Taco iron body pumps and many other brands of residential hydronic heating circulators.

The Unique Taco Replaceable Cartridge contains all the moving parts, and allows the "007" circulator to be serviced instead of replacing the entire unit. The quieter, direct drive cartridge type "00" Series circulator is self lubricating, contains no mechanical seal, and requires no maintenance. This compact, low power consumption design is ideal for high efficiency jobs.

About Potable Water Systems (domestic water), the 007 pump is often used for warm or chilled fresh water systems. The 007 is available in cast iron or bronze construction with flanged connections. The Bronze model circulator using bronze flanges is reccomended for "potable water" type applications. Frequently Asked Questions About TACO 007 Circulators
Q: My 007 TACO Circulator is in place and working, but I noticed that it feels very warm (actually HOT) to touch. Is it OK?
A: Yes, this is normal. When running, the TACO 007 is very quiet and the pump is hot to touch.

Q: My TACO Pump says Model 007-F5. What will replace it?
A: The Taco 007 is also known as 007-F5. About the (F5) on the back end of the part number - that relates to the production series, the F5 is the latest series of the 007 Taco Circulator. If you have any TACO 007 iron body (not bronze) circulator the 007-F5 will replace it.

Q: Do I need to remove and replace the whole pump or can I repair it in-place?
A: Taco 007 Series Circulators are easily repaired without taking the pump body out of the piping system!
