1" Air Scoop for air elimination in a water boiler/hydronic heating system.

Air scoops are designed to efficiently separate air and remove air to provide noiseless, air-free operation in hydronic heating, cooling or combination systems. By design, air scoops separate air, control it, then air is eliminated!

Air scoops offer you a way to efficiently remove air from various HVAC systems over a wide range of operating pressures and flows. Air scoops also provide an economic way to integrate air elimination by connecting the expansion tank in the optimum position in the piping system.

Piping connections are 1 inch FIP, the cast iron air scoop also includes standard tapings for fitting an expansion tank 1/2 inch and automatic air vent 1/8 inch.
