Thermostat/Aquastat Assembly for Beacon Morris Twin-Flo Hydronic Kick Space Heaters

FYI: An Aquastat is a thermostat that senses the water temperature in the piping system and signals the fan in the Kick Space Heater to turn on or off accordingly.

Please Note: This is a repair part, a standard aquastat is an included component of all Twin-Flo Kick Space Heaters by Beacon Morris. You do not need to buy this aquastat when buying a new kick space heater because it is included with the new heater.

FYI: The AQUASTAT is a thermostat that senses the water temperature in the piping system, it is a component part of a Beacon Morris Twin-Flo Kick Space Heater. The aquastat signals the fan in the Kick Space Heater to turn on or off accordingly. The Model #3024, is the Standard Aquastat Assembly for Beacon Morris Twin-Flo III Hydronic Kick Space Heaters, it switches (makes contact) on at 140°F. The 3024 switch it is for use with normal hydronic boiler water temperatures, which are normally in the range of 170°F - 190°F, the standard boiler water temperature is usually set up at 180°F.

Model 3024 is not for low temperature hydronic system applications such as may be common on solar or water that is tempered to normal radiant water temperatures.

How Kickspace Heaters work. 
Hot water from the home's hot water heating source, normally a boiler or solar heating system is circulated through the kickspace unit , where the unit's built-in fan gently blows heated air into the room. The homeowner simply selects the fan speed, then the kickspace unit turns on and off automatically according to the pre-set aquastat and in conjuntion with the heating demand as set by the thermostat for that zone/area of the system.
