Victor® Electronic Rat Trap
Used for elimination of rodent pests.
The Victor® Electronic Rat Trap activates when the rat completes the circuit by touching the metal plates inside the plastic housing and features a patent pending design that prevents escapes. The Electronic Rat Trap will exterminate about 12 rats using one set of four C batteries to zap rats dead with an electronic shock. A red indicator light flashes when the batteries are low and need to be replaced.
The Victor® Electronic Rat Trap "kills them dead." Just pick up the light-weight trap single-handed and dump them out. You do not have to struggle to clean out, bait and reset your traps as you do with dangerous and messy steel spring snap traps. You really don't even have to look at the little rascals - that's what's really nice!
Tips for Trapping and Baits for Rats
Rodents enter a home through holes the size of a dime and run along walls, not over open spaces.
1. Place traps perpendicular to the wall.
2. Place rat traps out baited but unset for a few days so rodents can become familiar with it.
3. Place traps where rodent activity is seen (sign of chewing, droppings, runway, burrow).
4. Leave rat traps undisturbed for at least two days before moving to a new location.
5. Check traps daily and replace as needed.
6. Wear gloves when disposing of rodent.
What baits should I use in my Victor® Electronic rat trap?
For rats, you can use peanut butter, bacon, fruits, vegetables, cereals, or meats.
