Foaming Root Killer
Foaming Root Killer by Roebic Labs
Root problems can be very annoying and expensive to fix. Fortunately, root problems can be controlled. Use Foaming Root Killer (FRK) for more persistent root intrusion problems. If you have a septic tank and roots are either in the main waste line (the line that brings sewage to your septic tank) or in the tank itself, then you should use FRK to kill those invading roots. If you have roots that are clogging a sewer line then you realize that you have a potentially costly and reoccuring problem. Foaming Root Killer is a new product from Roebic Labs. FRK foams on contact with water to fill the entire sewer pipe with the powerful root killing agent Dichlobenil. FRK does not contain copper sulfate (blue crystal). Dichlobenil prevents new root growth by inhibiting the developement of actively dividing meristem cells in root tips. New root growths outside the pipe joints are retarded or inhibited in growth when they come in contact with the Dichlobenil inside the pipe. FRK is safe for your trees and shrubs, because FRK only kills the roots it comes in contact with inside and near the pipe. The rest of your plants root system outside the pipes are free to grow.

FRK does not contain Copper Sulfate or Metham Sodium, both of which are harmful to aquatic environments. These two ingredients are found in many other root killer products on the market today. Dichlorobenzontrile the active root killing component in Robeic FRK - Foaming Root Killer is allowed in the areas of Connecticut and Cailifornia's San Fransisco Bay Area for use in the sections that are in the control program for Copper - Based Root Eradicator Products.
FRK Outperforms
Foaming Root Killer is very effective because its foaming action covers the whole inside surface of the pipe, and sticks well to roots resulting in longer lasting residual killing action. Foaming Root Killer self foams on contact with water and expands in areas that other liquid / crystal root treatments will never reach. Foam delivered Dichlobenil root killing treatment will find and kill much more of the root system and do the job faster. Dichlobenil is readly absorbed by organic and inorganic colloids of sludge and clay in pipe jionts providing residual control of root regrowth. Roebic Foaming Root Killer Delivers the type of powerful stopping power that you need to solve your root problems quickly easily and inexpensively.
An application of Roebic Foaming Root Killer is especially important immediately after you have had to have a professional drain cleaner cut roots to clear your drain line. Here’s why, when a root system is cut it is just like pruning branches on any plant, it just helps to promote new growth, in this case creating a branching and thickening of the root system. Applying Roebic Foaming Root Killer right away will keep that new growth from occurring because the root ends can't divide. Applying Roebic Foaming Root Killer every 12 months should keep you from ever having to get those roots cut out again!
This unique root killer also contains ingredients that help speed up the decay process of the roots that it kills for superb results. This enables you to experience fast relief from your root clog problems. Roebic Foaming Root Killer is the product of choice in southern, semi-tropical areas including, Florida, the Gulf states, desert Southwest, and Southern California where root problems are especially tough.
Other Root Problem Areas
Use Foaming Root Killer along sidewalks and driveways to prevent root growth from pushing up and damaging paved structures. Cut a 3" or deeper edging along the structure and pour Roebic Foaming Root Killer into the thin strip then cover with soil. Repeat annually to prevent root growth near the surface along sidewalks and driveways.
Use Foaming Root Killer between roots and sewer lines to prevent long term root growth from the tree to the sewer lines. A series of small holes, two feet apart, may be bored into the ground near the offending tree or outside the sewer joints using water or mechanical boring equipment. Add 4 oz. of Roebic Foaming Root Killer to each hole and fill with soil. Be sure that the location and depth of the hole is directly between the offending tree and sewer line. Repeat annually to prevent root growth.
If used regularly both Roebic Root Killer products K-77 and FRK will work to maintain a "root-free" system and help to avoid the inconveniences that result from root clogs such as back-ups and surface break outs.
Note to user: It should take FRK, from 2 days to 1 week to clear your line depending on the root condition. Your system must have some flow in order for the FRK to work properly. If the Foaming Root Killer cannot get to the roots, it cannot kill them.
Re-treatments of Root Killer at 12 month intervals may be necessary to control new or abnormally heavy root intrusion.
