40# Vertical Propane Tank – This forty pound LP (Liquid Propane) tank is commonly used for Space Heaters, outdoor cook stoves, torches for roofers, framers, and farmers, larger commercial type barbeque grills and other similarly sized portable Propane appliances that utilize this type of portable tank. This 40 pound tank is double the size of a standard barbeque tank.

The tank includes an OPD (Over-fill Protection Device). This is the new style tank that complies with the 2002 US Federal code mandating an upgraded LP tank for safer operation.

Due to safety regulations LP tanks must ship EMPTY. The tanks we offer are all new tanks (not reconditioned). Our tanks have never been filled with gas, therefore they are safe to ship.

Specifications

All Manchester Propane cylinders are triple tested with dry pneumatic air.

All Manchester cylinders are steel shot blasted prior to painting for excellent paint adhesion. All cylinders are then processed with Powder Coat Paint for maximum rust protection.

HANDLE-EZ collar design. The only collar with a built-in, formed handle and no sharp edges on the cylinder.

All tanks include consumer warning decals that are easy to read for your protection.

Manufactured by Manchester in the most up-to-date, state-of-the-art cylinder facilities in the U.S.A.
