Before ordering the Bemis Toilet Seat - Color Direct Kit, please observe your seat shape and measure the bolt spread to see if the Bemis Toilet Seats available through the Color Direct System will fit your toilet.
Measure the spread from the center of one bolt to the other.
Here are the dimensions of the two common shaped toilets offered with Bemis Color Direct
- Elongated (Measures 18-1/2" from front to back, at the center of the mounting bolt)
- Round Front (also known as Plain Rim) (Measures 16-1/2" from front to back, at the center of the mounting bolt)
(Please note: Both shapes, Elongated and Round Front toilet seats that are offered with Bemis Color Direct have a 5 1/2" measurement from one mounting bolt's center to the other. If your bolt holes are not a width of 5-1/2 inches then do not order the Color Direct Kit , as the seats that are offered will only fit the standard mounting of 5-1/2" on a horizontal plane.)
