High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Tubing
Wirsbo provides SDR 11 HDPE tubing in 2-, 3- and 4-inch diameters. HDPE tubing is used as supply return mains for large hydronic heating applications where the system contains no ferrous corrodible components or where ferrous components are isolated from the tubing. HDPE tubing is manufactured from 3408 PE material. Tubing and fittings are connected through fusion welding.

Service pressure and temperature ratings for HDPE used to convey water or water/glycol mixtures are as follows:
• 140°F at 80 PSI
• 120°F at 100 PSI
• 100°F at 125 PSI
• 73.4°F at 160 PSI

Note: This tubing must be ordered in 20-foot lengths.
