TruFLOW Sr. Valveless Manifold

TruFLOW Sr. Valveless Manifold is used with the TruFLOW Sr. Manifold with Isolation Valves or the TruFLOW Sr. Manifold with Balancing Valves to complete the manifold set.  The TruFLOW Sr. Valveless Manifold does not have any flow balancing or isolation capability.  A manual air vent is installed in the body of the manifold.  Manifolds are available in 2- through 6-loop configurations.  The manifold body ends have 1 1/2" female BSP threads and the loop outlets have R25 male threads.  The manifolds are connected together with the TruFLOW Sr. Manifold Coupling Nipple (A2651515).  This valveless manifold can be used in both the supply and return manifold positions only when the loops lengths are within 3% in length of each other across the manifold and the manifold is supporting only one zone.  Manifold is shipped with a pre-formed insulation kit that can be installed around the manifold body.
Maximum recommended flow to the manifold based on the manifold body diameter is 41 GPM.

TruFLOW™ Sr. Manifold System

 This larger-capacity manifold is an Uponor-exclusive, designed specifically for meeting the higher flow demands of commercial and snow-melting applications.

The TruFLOW Sr. manifold is made of highly reliable extruded brass and features a modular concept design to allow greater flexibility for any application. The manifold comes in 2-, 3-, 4-, 5- and 6-loop manifold segments, and is available in three versions — with balancing valves, with isolation valves and valveless.

The manifold features o-ring sealed nipples, manifold connections and end caps to ensure a leak-resistant and secure connection. It also offers a heavy-duty manifold bracket, which allows the installer to meet any site requirement with ease.

 Connecting the TruFLOW™ Sr. Manifold System

Connect the manifold with either 1 1⁄2" NPT or 1 1⁄2" copper sweat. The loop connection features an R25 thread to accommodate 5⁄8" or 3⁄4" PEX or Uponor multi-layer composite (MLC) tubing (formerly MultiCor®) fitting assemblies.

The internal diameter (i.d.) of the manifold body is 1 7⁄8" and easily allows up to 41 gallons per minute (gpm). The loop outlets have a flow coefficient (Cv) of 7.4 gpm.

In addition, each manifold segment comes with an insulation kit to help protect the manifold and to reduce heat loss at the manifold.
