• Thirty eight percent of adults are concerned that a variety of objects could inadvertently fall into the toilet
• On a lighter side, 17 percent of adults are concerned someone might inadvertently fall into the toilet bowl when the lid and seat are left open

The research findings also unveiled that the public's advanced understanding of hygiene and germs is leading a trend towards "touchless" technology, which is gaining strong momentum within the bathroom environment. The study reported that 37 percent of men and 40 percent of women want to touch the toilet seat as little as possible. 

"Years ago the garage door opener and the TV remote were considered unnecessary luxuries, while today we don't live without them," Glancey added. "The toilet seat is no different, as we've come to expect increased functionality, convenience and benefits from the products in our homes. How do I remove my old toilet seat to install Harmony™? Loosen the hinge with a screwdriver or wrench. Remember your tools are steel and your bowl is porcelain. You need to be careful not to chip it. If the bolts are rusty or badly calcified, spray them with WD-40 penetrating oil. Let them sit for five or ten minutes and then try again. If they still do not budge, you might want to consider calling a professional.

How do I know if I have the right size toilet seat? There are two different size toilets in the United States, round and elongated. You need to measure from front of bowl to the center of mounting holes. A round bowl is approximately 16 1/2" and an elongated bowl is approximately 18 1/2".

What colors is Harmony™ available in? Currently, it is only available in white.
