This lawn sprinkler from Gilmour is built for medium size lawns and run from 60 psi of pressure. The sprinkler covers 3000 square feet and has 15 water jets. The controls on the sides of the sprinkler allow you to control the distance and direction your sprinkler covers. Maintenance
In order to keep your sprinkler in the best shape, be sure to clean the inlet filter washer regularly by removing it and rinsing it with water. Also remove the red plug located at the end of the spray tube to clean the spray jets. Use a gentle water flow to flush out the tube and the tip end of the plug to clear jets. After each sprinkler use, drain the sprinkler, especially in colder weather. If the sprinkler freezes with water inside, it will get damaged. Finally, do not rotate the spray tube by hand, as it will damage the motor.

Watering Tips from Gilmour
Get to know your lawn. Look for signs that watering is needed, such as slowing of growth, changes in color, or lack of resilience. Check the soil 2 to 6 inches down. If that soil is dry, your lawn needs to be watered. It is best to water early in the morning, since there is a low evaporation rate and good penetration at that time. If you're busy in the early morning, late afternoon is next best, but be sure to do your watering early enough that the grass will be dry by dark. Night watering can promote lawn diseases, and do it is not recommended. Deep watering is important for strong root growth. A good soaking once every few days is better than frequent, light sprinklings. The water should reach a depth of 6 to 8 inches.
