Legend Model T-540 water heater drain ball valve is constructed of heavy-duty forged brass. The ball design is an ideal replacement for the traditional globe type boiler drain, sillcock, or hose bibb in this application. Because of the frequency of operation, the globe design will wear out quickly. This ball design has been life cycle tested at 380,000 operations.
