Alliance Indirect-fired Water Heater from Burnham
Burnham Alliance Water Heater
Never lose the hot water halfway through the shower again! With indirect water heating, Burnham allows for a higher recovery rate and greater savings, providing you with the best setup possible.
Your Hot Water Solution
Most of us don't really like it when the hot water suddenly turns freezing cold right in the middle of the shower. Fortunately, Burnham Hydronics provides us with a solution to that problem - the Alliance indirect water heater. With the Alliance water heater, your family will have plenty of hot water available for showers, laundry, dishwashing, and anything else you need.
How Does Indirect Water Heating Work?
Indirect water heaters use a boiler's energy to provide hot water 365 days a year at a lower cost. The boiler heats the water, which is then circulated through a stainless steel heat exchanger in the center of the Alliance tank. The hot water heats the coil, which, in turn, heats the potable hot water in the tank that surrounds it.
Advantages
- Higher Recovery Rate - The Alliance uses the BTU output from the boiler as a heat source, providing a higher recovery rate than the typical direct fired or electrical water heater.
- Greater Savings - No extra venting is required when using the boiler as a heat source. Less venting means less heat loss and greater savings for you.
- More Durability - The Alliance is more durable than a standard tank because it isn't subject to thermal stresses that are often produced by heat from a direct flame.
Features
- Longevity - The Allliance has a stainless steel tank and a stainless steel surface coil to improve heat transfer. The coil has a smooth surface to prevent scaling build-up commonly found on some coil heat exchangers.
- Easy Maintenance - All Alliance tanks have a top inspection opening. This opening allows easy inspection and cleaning if required. The bottom drain valve allows easy drainage of the tank.
- Warranty - The Alliance indirect water heaters are backed by the best warranty in the business. There's a lifetime limited warranty on tank assemblies installed in residential applications and a five-year limited warranty on the assemblies in commercial installations.
