008-IFC Cartridge Circulator with Flow Check

This circulator from Taco HVAC is a model 008-IFC. This series of pump is designed with an integral flow check, or IFC. It is designed to reduce installation costs when zoning with "00" circulators on hydronic or radiant heating, hydro-air fan coils, or closed-loop solar heating systems. The 00 circulator is a Taco technology that contains all of the moving parts of the pump. Therefore, if anything goes wrong with the pump, it is easy to service without having to replace the entire unit or disrupt your cycle.

Models
This series from Taco has two models in it.
• 008-BC6-IFC - Bronze, 3/4" sweat connection
• 008-SF6-IFC - Stainless, flanged

This pump has a patented IFC casing that eliminates separate in-line flow check, which reduces installation costs. The reduced pressure drop increases flow performance by 260% over in-line check valves.
