Plews-Edelmann
Plews and Edelmann began as two different companies, Plews in 1927 and Edelmann in 1909. Edelmann produced automotive parts in Chicago, while Plews was producing lubricants and oil cans. The two companies were both acquired in 1997 by Tomkins, bringing two of the foremost names in automotive repair under one now-well known name: Plews-Edelmann.
